Big Fish Leaders 2008

1. Fish are eligible from the state of:

Illinois - Indiana - Iowa - Kentucky - Michigan - Minnesota - Missouri - Ohio - Wisconsin

2. To encourage catch and release, winners will be based on length and girth using the formula:

weight in pounds = length x girth²

3. Fish must be caught legally during 2008 by a DPL member and the entry form received no later than the January 2009 meeting.

4. Entry form must be filled out completely. A signature of a witness of the measuring OR a clear photograph of the fish against a yardstick must be included. A photograph is desirable in all cases and will be returned.

5. The contest classifications and minimum entry lengths are:

Largemouth Bass 20"
Smallmouth Bass 18"
Musky 40"
Walleye 26"
Crappie/White Bass 12"
Bluegill 9"
Catfish/Carp 24"
Yellow Perch 12"
Steelhead 28"
Chinook Salmon 26"
Brown Trout 24"
Northern Pike 32"

6. The winner of each classification will receive a prize.

7. Entry must be received within 60 days of catch.

A member is only eligible to receive one (1) prize per year.
